A individual indicted with harassing Kate McCann allegedly deposited her a voicemail message which asked: "what if I am Madeleine?"

On Monday, the tribunal learned communication data and evidence retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - as a three-year-old during a trip in Portugal - is among the most publicized missing child cases and continues to be unsolved.

'I Don't Want Money'

Another recorded message, shared in court, documented Ms Wandelt stating: "I realize I'm overweight and unattractive like Madeleine used to be, but I feel what I feel."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a small chance that I am she? What happens next? Is that not significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I just want to understand," the message continued.

The jury was informed that via emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, sent childhood photos to her phone in a bid to display a similarity to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and stated to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who collated the information, told the court there "didn't appear to be any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also communicated with family friends of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann responded to a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "incorrect contact information."

That day Ms Wandelt recorded a recording on Mrs McCann's recording stating "I will persist and I plan to establish my position."

The court was informed the co-defendant struck up a connection via internet with Ms Wandelt before assisting her on a trip to the McCanns' home in Leicestershire in December 2024.

Call logs revealed Mrs Spragg had reached out via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to express the press had characterized Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she ought to be considered genuine in the time before the trip to Rothley, that area, in December 2024.
